Oh! I love Temeraire and Capt. Will Laurence. Book 6 was a complete disappointment, so much so that I haven't read #7 yet. The reviews sound promising, though, so maybe I'll give it a chance...
ReplyDeleteOh, I just finished racing through #4. I'm trying to slow down to savor them.
ReplyDeleteI actually listened to all of these as audiobooks (read by Simon Vance, I think). That's the nice thing about audiobooks: you have no choice but to go slowly and savor.
DeleteI think, in all honesty, that part of the reason I liked them so much was Vance himself. That man could read me the phone book and I'd be pretty happy, LOL.
