How about foxes that ride esculators in the London Underground? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1233831/The-Lon-den-Underground-The-urban-fox-takes-escalator-Tube-station.html
Unfortunately this cat got killed in a hit and run. Sadly ironic.
Pigeons are clever little things. I was eating a pastie in the park once, sitting on a park bench. The usual gang of pigeons flocked around me, as pasties are quite flaky. This one certain pigeon go up on the bench. Looked at me. Then sat down next to me, normal as anything as if that's what he always did. So I fed him some pastie directly into his beak. Why scrabble around in the dark when you can sit down all civilised and get food inserted into your mouth?
I've seen some very clever pigeons though... and some not so clever ones...
Hah! I can imagine - well I can't as I like pigeons. One landed on my head in London when I was a kid when we were walking through on of he parks. It stayed there for quite a while - I hope that didn't happen to you. I was kinda worried it was going to do a poop though...
Heh! This is fab! Pigeons do have such a natural clueless sort of chutzpah, don't they?
ReplyDeleteThey really do, come to think of it!

Truth be told, I'm actually a little bit scared of pigeons. I went to Trafalgar Square once, and was terrified!
