Okay, I wasn't going to do it. But, last minute, I think I'll give it a shot.
What are my Bloggiesta goals?
- Think about a new template. I really love this one, but, so many people use it. Maybe I need something more unique.
- Complete some entries on a stack of picture books I have waiting for me, that I didn't tackle during last week's 48-Hour Reading Challenge.
- Write up a list post.
- Take part in some mini-challenges.
- Clean-up some tags, hunt for broken links, including broken images.
- Check out some other book blogs, catch up on reading blogs.
- Make some business cards.
That's about it, really. I don't think I'll push myself as hard as I did for the 48-Hour Reading Challenge. Check back for my progress post on Sunday!
Madigan-thank you for your suggestions-I have done that-but lost all my original color schemes-I think that since I changed and saved the colors the old ones are gone-am I right. Next question is the layout of the text-my text reads more like narrow paragraphs vs. see www.sidewalkshoes.blogspot.com her text is spread out-how do I get my text more spread out if you know.
ReplyDeletethanks
I know the feeling about wanting your own unique look. That's how I feel about my templates. When I can afford a new one, I'll get one.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your to do list. Happy BLoggiesta!
I just changed my look. I know there is probably lots of people that use it but I am pretty happy with it:) I am in the middle of going through google reader and that is a job. I really need to start looking at that every day:) Good luck this weekend!

I decided to join the Bloggiesta at the last minute, too. It is the first time I am participating and am getting some stuff done. I have a similar dilemma to you - I like the look of my blog, but feel it is not meeting my needs at times. Now I am trying to decide if I should change it or just leave it. What have you decided?
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend!

Always With a Book
I started with this very same template back in the day...and remain rather fond of it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck meeting your goals!
Good luck! I like your blog. You seem to like tobread similar books to me.
ReplyDelete@Esme Rats! I hope you get that figured out. As far as I know, you can't adjust column widths in the old template... the new templates do have that feature however. Well... that's not true. If you edit the HTML directly, I think you can take care of it that way.
ReplyDelete@Kristin I think I'm stickin' with this for now. I got some great headway on figuring out how to change it later if I want to though. I'll post more about that later tonight.
@Charlotte Thanks! I really like your current blog design. The nebula is so distinctive, and the text is easy to read. ;)
@Elizabeth I checked out your blog today, and I agree. I think I could read the same story over and over and over again, and never grow weary of it. "Young person discovers they have supernatural powers. Adventures ensue." lol.
